The Pakistan Telecom Authority has increased international the wholesale termination rate to carriers to a minimum of 10c from the 1st of May.
Should this be allowed to happen Pakistani citizens living out side of Pakistan should be seeing a calling card rate of around 15c as opposed to around 4c. This is typical of countries which have huge numbers of its citizens living outside its borders. They use this tactic to enrich an already wealthy company which if you check is probably owned by members of the ruling family. Currently Bingo Telecom calling card rates to Pakistan are 6.0 Cents a minute.
Reliance India call has increased the Pakistan Phone card rate to Call Pakistan 13.9 Cents a minute. Bingo Telecom is still selling Pakistan Calling Card for 6.0 Cents a minute. I think these guys will also increase the calling card rate to Pakistan. But I Hope their rate stays cheaper than other in the market. I like the call quality and features, would hate to move to another calling card company.

WQN has increased the calling card rate to Pakistan to 14.5 cents a minute.

Its a bummer. I have recently switched to Bingo telecom because of this and am actually happy. Hope they continue giving cheaper rates
and maintain their quality. What I love the most is the personal attention that I have recieved.

Hey Asif thanks for referring me to this website. I have been using their service to call pakistan and actually dont feel the pinch of price hike as bad.
